”in-and-out-breathing”, are corporeal or physical functions or ”formations” (ka^ya-sankha^ra), whilst thought-conception and discursive thinking (vitakka and vica^ra) are called verbal functions (vaci^-sankha^ra), s. sankha^ra (2).
