至道無難,唯嫌揀擇。但莫憎愛,洞然明白。
毫厘有差,天地懸隔。欲得現前,莫存順逆,
違順相爭,是爲心病。不是玄旨,徒勞念靜。
圓同太虛,無欠無余。良由取舍,所以不如。
莫逐有緣,勿住空忍。一種平懷,泯然自盡。
止動歸止,止更彌動。唯滯兩邊,甯知一種。
一種不通,兩處失功。遣有沒有,從空背空。
多言多慮,轉不相應。絕言絕慮,無處不通。
歸根得旨,隨照失宗。須臾返照,勝卻前空。
前空轉變,皆由忘見。不用求真,唯須息見。
二見不住,慎莫追尋。才有是非,紛然失心。
二由一有,一亦莫守。一心不生,萬法無咎。
無咎無法,不生不心。能隨境滅,境逐能沈。
境由能境,能由境能。欲知兩段,元是一空。
一空同兩,齊含萬象。不見精粗,甯有偏黨。
大道體寬,無易無難。小見狐疑,轉急轉遲。
執之失度,必入邪路。放之自然,體無去住。
任性合道,逍遙絕惱。系念乖真,昏沈不好。
不好勞神,何用疏親。欲取一乘,勿惡六塵。
六塵不惡,還同正覺。智者無爲,愚人自縛。
法無異法,妄自愛著。將心用心,豈非大錯。
迷生寂亂,悟無好惡。一切二邊,良由斟酌。
夢幻虛華,何勞把捉。得失是非,一時放卻。
眼若不寐,諸夢自除。心若不異,萬法一如。
一如體玄,兀爾妄緣。萬法齊觀,複歸自然。
泯其所以,不可方比。止動無動,動止無止。
兩即不成,亦何有爾。究竟窮極,不存軌則。
契心平等,所作俱息。狐疑盡淨,正信調直
。
一切不留,無可記憶。虛明自照,不勞心力。
非思量處,識情難測。真如法界,無他無自。
要急相應,唯言不二。不二皆同,無不包容。
十方智者,皆入此宗。宗非促延,一念萬年。
無在不在,十方目前。極小同大,忘絕境界。
極大同小,不見邊表。有即是無,無即是有。
若不如此,必不須守。一即一切,一切即一。
但能如是,何慮不畢。信心不二,不二信心。
言語道斷,非去來今。

The Epigraph Of Heart-king
心王銘(傅翁作)
Being an inspector of heart, which is a void-king, it is mysterious, wonderful and difficulty to be predicted; It has no forms or phenomena, It has the most supernatural power which could destroy one thousand of disasters, gaining ten thousand of moralities, its nature being empty, it is displaying its function for laws; you observe it has no forms, and you call it which has a voice, as a general for great dharma, conscientious discipline giving sutras out, just as there is some salted-smell in water, just as there is transparent glue in the matters. The salt and glue have existed in the water and matters, but are not observed.@
觀心空王,玄妙難測。無形無相,有大神力。
能滅千災,成就萬德。體性虛空,能施法則。
觀之無形,呼之有聲。爲大法將,心戒傳經。
水中鹽味,色裏膠清,決定是有,不見其形。
Such is the heart-king, who is alive in the body, going out and coming in, touching formation with mood, being quite free, his action being successful. The knowledge of spiritual reality means the knowledge of Buddha reality. The mental power is Buddha, Buddha is the mental power. Whenever there is an utterance of Buddha heart, Buddha heart is always uttering Buddha. If you want to be Buddha earlier, you have to discipline yourself with conscience discipline. Purging the heart of sin with pure discipline, the heart is just Buddha.@
心王亦爾,身內居停。面門出入,應物隨情。
自在無礙,所作皆成。了本識心,識心見佛。
是心是佛,是佛是心。念念佛心,佛心念佛。
欲得早成,戒心自律。淨律淨心,心即是佛。
Except for this heart-king, there is no another Buddha. If you want to be Buddha, your soul should not be polluted by one thing. Although conscience is empty, greed and hatred are really true. Coming into this gate, sitting still and calm, becoming Buddha ,reaching that beach and gaining Prajna Paramita. The real scholar who is in envy of The Way could inspect and practice your mind in person, who understands Buddha being inside the soul, never seeking after him outside it. Just the heart , just Buddha; Departing Buddha, it is not the heart.@
除此心王,更無別佛。欲求成佛,莫染一物。
心性雖空,貪嗔體實。入此法門,端坐成佛。
到彼岸已,得波羅蜜。慕道真士,自觀自心。
知佛在內,不向外尋。即心即佛,離佛非心。
The bright mental power touches Buddha and the understanding comes to a mind. Out of the mental power, it is not Buddha; Off Buddha, it is not the mental power. It is not Buddha who is not able to be foreseen, who has no ability to do everything. If you had taken hold of void and loneliness , your soul would still flit here forever. There are a lot of Bodhisattvas and Buddhas who would not calm down the mind like that. Those Bodhisattvas who are pretty bright should be aware of the mysterious sound. The body and mind and soul is beautifully wonderful, it is no use improving them. Thus the wise is free and peaceful @
心明識佛,曉了識心。離心非佛,離佛非心。
非佛莫測,無所堪任。執空滯寂,于此漂沈。
諸佛菩薩,非此安心。明心大士,悟此玄音。
身心性妙,用無更改。是故智者,放心自在。
Don”t mention void-king, nor chat conscience. The mind makes your body doing right or evil, which is neither being nor non-being, sometimes hidden, sometimes visible. The conscience is far away from void, which might be holy or foolish. So an advice for you to carefully prevent your mind from doing anything . Doing a little bit evil just one moment, your soul should still flit here. Pure and quiet morality is like ten thousand of worldly gold. There is dharma-pitaka for Prajna Paramita in your body. The dharmaratna for inactivity is neither easy nor deep. A lot of Bodhisattvas and Buddhas have understood the mind. If you have conditions to meet with it, which is neither gone nor coming up to now.@
莫言心王,空言體性。能使色身,作邪作正。
非有非無,隱顯不定。心性離空,能凡能聖。
是故相勸,好自防慎。刹那造作,還複漂沈。
清淨心智,如世萬金。般若法藏,並在身心。
無爲法寶,非淺非深。諸佛菩薩,了此本心。
有緣遇者,非去來今。
